Smoky River Sport Horses Interview

By Interviewer at 01/23/08 13:09

Name of your website?

Smoky River Sport Horses

Your name?

Brandy

Your Location (city, etc)

Bezanson

Tell us a little about your website

We breed/ train/ sell horses for various disciplines including Western and English... hunter/jumper/ trail/ dressage/ endurance/ gymchana and more.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I had to learn everything self taught, it was a long process..trail and error... but have dedicated alot of time to it, including learning how to do the pictures and video's

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is a second version on of my first website...

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We partially used our location, and then what did ... Smoky River... and Sport Horses... we have various breeds and warmblood breeds.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I have dedicated tonnes of time, engery and money as horses are a passion of mine and my families...and we have enjoyed horses all our lives...

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Get someone to help with the promotional side of things, including proffessional write ups, updates, etc. Also we are looking to expand on our hands on side as well... get a few new riders, etc.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I believe so...

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

The Time invested!!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I'd like to keep it up and running... but would like to revamp it...

What is your website address?

Smoky River Sport Horses
