Weldon Equestrian Services Interview

By Interviewer at 11/10/09 04:06

Name of your website?

Weldon Equestrian Services

Your name?

Cynthia Weldon

Your Location (city, etc)

Charlottesville area

Please give us a short summary of your website?

The Weldon Equestrian Services website is designed to give horse owners access to the services of Cynthia Weldon, a professional horse trainer and rider. It includes photos of Cynthia working with different horses, a biography, services offered and contact information.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to give people an easy way to learn about me and what I can offer them. If they are interested in what they see on the website, I look forward to hearing from them by e-mail or over the phone.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The website name, for now, is the same as the company name.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

My website offers a personal look at who I am and the services I can provide.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I plan to keep and maintain my website to promote my services.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

This is the beginning of the endeavor; ask me again in a few months!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would make it much more unique and offer more online options for feedback, etc.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes; my site is primarily geared toward spreading the word in order to gain contacts in the business world. Much of the work will actually be done in person or by phone.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None, so far! Just wait...

What has been your biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge has been reaching as many people as possible.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Listing it on established equestrian websites has been quite helpful.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

This is the beginning of the project. Thus far, all expectations are met.

What is your website address?
