Hemlock is a dangerous plant that can cause fatalities if not considered as a serious threat. In the haying process it is easy for a human to mistake hemlock for foliage and add it to the hay that is to be consumed by cattle (livestock). Hemlock is considered extremely harmful toward human beings as well and we should steer far away from this poisonous plant. Though, the animals seem to be able to tell the difference between consumable and none consumable plants.
