If you are living in India and you live nearby equines, you are advised to take precaution as it was found that at least 5400 horses are already infected by the equine influenza (EI) virus.
Most severely affected of all are thoroughbred equines, though the virus is mostly found in donkeys, which are largely unaffected by the virus.
Furthermore, the said virus are found to be capable of transferring to human bodies.
