Balage Feeding Tips

Balage is grass that is baled and wrapped soon after cutting. This minimizes the risk of loss during the rainy season, making it a good alternative source of feeds for equine during the winter season. It's nutritious and horses enjoy it as much as they enjoy ordinary hay, but there are risks involved for horse owners who try it for the first time.
